Milan Radonich

Milan Radonich is New Zealand''s No1 ''big fish in shallow water'' expert and a fishing technique innovator if there ever was one.
He has caught thousands of huge kingfish and sharks, all with techniques developed by himself.

Milan quickly saw the advantage in the SLAM softbaits and as he describes: ''the SLAM softbaits have found a permanent place as an excellent tool in my tacklebox''.

Milan''s radical approach to fishing and his excellent photography has made him a well known writer and an often seen face on fishing TV.
After the huge success with his tournament ''Kings of the Coromandel'', Milan has decided to design a new kind of fishing competition, called ''Pretty Chicken'' which we will hear a lot about in the near future.

Nikolaj Mathiesen

Nikolaj Mathiesen is New Zealand’s only saltwater fly fishing guide. His business, Saltflyer, has within 4 years developed into one of the most successful charter businesses in New Zealand. Every season thousands of trophy kingfish, snapper, trevally and sharks fall for this new and exciting fishing style.

When not saltwater fly fishing, Nikolaj is chasing big game fish on spinning gear and has already landed huge marlin and sharks.

Nikolaj found that fishing the SLAM soft baits was quite similar to his fly fishing, but opened up for new techniques and fishing grounds. According to him, the SLAM soft baits has proved themselves deadly on fish normally very hard to catch.
